“When I discovered that Chris Clarke-Epstein was going to offer a Webinar series on writing I signed up immediately. I've learned a wealth of information from her about the art and science of writing in two ways: writing with her and by osmosis. She is the real deal when it comes to getting the written word on paper.” Leslie Charles, CSP

Is writing on your bucket list?

Was 2018 the year when you were going to buckle down and develop the writing habit and now the year is over!?!?!?

Do you often wish that the stories you tell so easily would find their way to paper?

Are you certain you were meant to be a writer, but it just hasn’t happened yet?

Here’s the deal. Writing doesn’t just happen, Writers develop a productive relationship with their muse because of discipline, skill, and perseverance. I can help you add all three critical elements to your repertoire by practicing the techniques you’ll learn during my Writing 101: Three Lessons to Develop a Writer’s Mindset 3 part virtual learning lab series.

“At a national conference you said, ‘Talking about writing isn’t writing; only writing is writing!’ BAM. Shut me up and opened me up. Chris, you helped get my first book written."                        Mike Staver

How much is this going to cost?

So, If you’re like me, you get an obvious sales piece like this and as you read all you’re thinking about is how much is this going to cost me? Unlike a store where you can peek at the ticket and decide if you really want to take the time and try the pants on, or look for a cheaper pair, long sales copy doesn’t usually have an easily accessed price tag. I decided to change that and trust that I’ve piqued your curiosity enough that you’ll keep reading and be astounded by the value and relevance to your needs!

So, here’s the deal. Registration is only $129.99. If you procrastinate until December 5th, your investment becomes $189.99, which is still a GREAT bargain.  Hey I know you; you’ve been putting your writing off and you’ll put registering off too, so do it now!

As an I’m ready to get things done type, I’m ready to register right now. Scroll to the bottom of this page.

“As trite as it may sound, attending one of Chris Clarke-Epstein’s writing programs is an investment, not an expense. It is an investment in clarity, insight, and discipline. I highly recommend that anyone with a desire to write or write better, work with Chris.”                                                                                             Tim Durkin

Who should participate?

If you consider yourself a writer, dream of being a writer, or hope to be a writer, but don’t actually write on a regular basis, this series has been designed for you. Limited to only 10 participants, you’ll get the personalized attention and feedback that will move you from would-be writer to writer-in-fact.

“Chris Clarke-Epstein’s guidance was instrumental in securing an Agent for my next book. Her insight and experience is second to none…and she’s just wickedly cool, If you want to be a successful writer; you need Chris in your corner."                                          Eliz Greene

What can I expect?

These are not typical webinars. (I know everyone says that and then they are. But I actually mean it.) You’ll be actively involved from the opening writing warm-up, to personalized feedback conversations, movie/TV episode and reading discussions as well as entertaining and insightful unique content delivered with flair and humor (if I do say so myself)—not your typical webinar. 90 minutes will fly by, I promise! Content will vary in each session.

Week One: Don’t Wait for the Muse: Writing is Writing

Get over the belief that you can only write when inspiration strikes or that you can express your thoughts perfectly in a first draft. Meet your writing colleagues. Experience the Writing 101 Learning Lab format. Write. Have fun as our time together adds up to valuable experience.

Week Two: What Makes Your Writing Unique? Finding Your Writer’s Voice                                                                             Readers want to hear from YOU! Finding your unique voice is the critical component in successful writing. This week, we’ll explore the elements of voice. Learn the importance of visuals in teasing out your authentic voice. Practice asking for feedback of the right type, at the right time, and from the right source. Explore and hone skills in the editing process. Write. Have fun as our time together transports us to new levels of self-expression.

Week Three: What Is Your Project? Discovering Form and Function                                                                                                                                    Let’s get down to your reason for writing? Memoir? Blog? Book? Articles? Family History? Social Media posts? Use provided checklists, calendars, and genre choices to help you home in on a specific project. Write. Have fun as our time together comes to an official end which means a new beginning for you as an accomplished writer.

“By her enthusiastic guidance and encouragement, this 88 year old writer wannabe is writing his memoirs and family anecdotes with pleasure, fun, and confidence. Thanks, Chris."                              Will Allmandinger

What will I be expected to do and how much time will it take?

Over the three week series, you’ll be expected to attend or listen to each 90-minute Learning Lab, do a 15 minute daily writing activity that will be emailed to you early each morning, watch a movie of your choice selected from a list I’ll provide, watch an episode of Mike & Molly, read several chapters from our “textbook”, identify an on-going writing project, seek and accept constructive writing feedback and other exciting activities too numerous to mention here. Depending on how serious you are about your writing, I’d estimate you’ll be devoting 2 to 3 hours a week in addition to the 90 minute Learning Lab. In other words, you’ll be acting like a writer.                                                                                                                                            I’m ready to register right now. What happens when it’s over?

After the last Learning Lab, you’ll continue to receive Writing Prompts for another 7 days as well as a one hour conference call with Chris to discuss your individual project. Specifics of additional opportunities will be announced during our work together including on-going subscriptions to Daily Writing Prompts, enrollment in my Writing Incubator to keep you on the writing path of your choice, as well as Individual Coaching sessions.                                                                                                             I’m ready to register right now. Hey, I forgot. How much is this going to cost me?

Now that you’ve read the details and understand the value Writing 101: Three Lessons to Develop a Writer’s Mindset provides, I’ll talk money again.

Your investment before December 5th is $129.99. After December 5th it becomes $189.99. So take action now. What a deal!

You do the math. A daily trip to Starbucks or your favorite local coffee shop over a month for a fancy drink and food item will cost you about $210.00. All you’ll have to show for it will be the pounds from all those calories! Spending less than that will leave you with improved skills AND a notebook full of writing! You tell me which is a better deal?
